Eureka Vacuum Parts
Vacuum belts or any other Eureka vacuum parts are not designed to last forever. Belts could break and wear out after some time. But are there ways to prevent this breakage at a much longer time? Definitely yes! You need to check first and foremost if the belts on your vacuum are installed properly. Also be sure that your belt is compatible with your cleaner as it may cause a great damage to your device as explained earlier.
Another thing you can do to prevent breakage is by performing system maintenance for your Eureka vacuum. The official website of Eureka recommends replacing your vacuum belts every six months or so. As time runs your vacuum belt will stretch and lose around the brush roll causing it to move slower. When this happens the vacuum can't function at its optimal level which means more effort on your part as a user. System maintenance is important in order to attain the maximum performance of your machine. To be sure you don't miss this out pick a date which is easy to remember such as every first month and sixth month of the year. However this is just a suggestion and you still decide whether to follow this or not.
As explained earlier it is very important that you know your vacuum belts are correctly attached to your machine. It's time you know how to change your vacuum cleaner's belt. It's easier than you think, just follow these simple steps:

As explained earlier it is very important that you know your vacuum belts are correctly attached to your machine. It's time you know how to change your vacuum cleaner's belt. It's easier than you think, just follow these simple steps:
1. First you need to be sure you have the replacement belt around.
2. Turn off the vacuum and unplug it from the outlet.
3. Unscrew the screws from the base of the vacuum and be sure to put them in a secure place so it doesn't get lost.
4. Lift the vacuum brush roll from the base slots and slide off the worn belt from the roll and the motor shaft.
5. Remove the brush roll. It will easily pop off once the screws are out.
6. Clean the brush roll to remove any dirt particles. Dry it up before putting it back to the machine.
7. Insert first the belted side of the brush roll back into place, then the right side.
8. Clip in the front tabs of the base plate, secure and reattach with screws.
After setting up the Eureka vacuum belt into your machine you have to test the connection to be sure everything was done correctly. Be sure that the belt is properly aligned with the brush roll and the motor shaft. Plug in the vacuum cleaner and test if it works. You will know it is working correctly if you will have no difficulty rolling the brush roll. Do this for about 15 minutes and observe the sound your machine will produce. If you hear a buzzing noise then you might have to reinstall the vacuum belt.
